Through discussion, vocabulary, and story analysis, students will focus on sequencing events and explaining how following steps in the correct order helps solve problems. Learners will explore themes of persistence, problem-solving, and logical thinking while recognizing how mistakes help improve designs. Students will also read How to Code a Rollercoaster by Josh Funk as a connected text, comparing how coding and problem-solving strategies can be used in different situations.
