Spring Counting and Number Match

Practice counting and identifying numbers 0–20 using quantity groups, and build number sense by identifying a number and showing how many. Learners will grab a butterfly and leaf and place the correct number of yellow eggs on the leaf to match the number on the butterfly, or count the eggs on a leaf and find the matching butterfly number.

This resource supports a wide range of ability levels and can also be extended for addition and subtraction within 20, making it a versatile tool for differentiated instruction. Complete lesson plans are included with multiple ways to use the materials, so you can easily adapt activities for whole group, small group, or independent work.
