This resource contains traditional Montessori 3 Part cards featuring 14 images of different bridge designs using real images of bridges around the world. This is a great way to build content-specific vocabulary, language, visual discrimination, and content schema. These cards are the perfect addition to a Project Based Learning (PBL) unit about bridges and engineering.
This resource also contains informational flash cards for the same 14 different bridge designs. On the front is a real photograph of the bridge design, and on the reverse is the bridge type, a child-friendly description of the bridge type, pros and cons of the design, and the name of the bridge featured on the card and what country it is in. These are perfect for introducing content specific vocabulary, used as a matching game, and used as research aids for your Project Based Learning (PBP) unit or other research project about bridges and engineering.
Complete lesson plans are included for both sets of cards.
