This bundle of books focuses on the theme of identity and self-awareness, encouraging students to explore what makes each person unique while celebrating individuality, culture, confidence, belonging, and self-acceptance. Throughout this unit, students will focus on identifying character feelings and motivations, describing character traits and how they change over time, analyzing story settings and themes, making inferences, visualizing important details, and making meaningful text-to-self, text-to-text, and text-to-world connections.
