This week, students will read and explore A Hat for Mrs. Goldman by Michelle Edwards as they learn about kindness, generosity, and caring for others through thoughtful acts of service. Through discussion, vocabulary, and story analysis, students will focus on describing character feelings and motivations by using clues from both the text and illustrations. Learners will discover how compassion inspires people to help others and how even small acts of kindness can have a meaningful impact. Students will also read The Can Man by Laura E.
