If you are looking for Low Prep materials for morning bins, early finisher work, center activities, Montessori or homeschool shelf work, or small group instruction, for toddlers and preschoolers, this resource is for you!
So what are they?
Each month will have 8 no or low prep activities for toddlers and preschoolers to practice foundational math and literacy skills, phonological awareness, phonics, fine motor, prewriting, gross motor, sensory, and more! Each month also comes with a bonus art project that aligns to the theme of the month. All of the activities come with all needed printables and an “I Can” card that models visually what the child needs to do to complete the activity. This way you can set out the materials with the I Can card and students can be immediately independent!
How can you use them?
These materials can be put out as morning bins, early finisher work, center activities, small group instruction, or on your Montessori or homeschool shelves. This is truly the equivalent of me rotating your shelves, centers, and bins each month!
Will I need anything else?
Yes, but do not fret, I have included a materials list with links to any additional materials you may need for the activities. But I also made sure that those materials are used for multiple month's activities so you are not buying something that is one and done! You will be using classic materials such as math cubes, spinners, tweezers, beads, magnetic letters, counters, etc. All my tried and true favorite teaching resources that I use constantly. These are things you may already have in your teaching toolbox, or that you definitely will need as you get started!
What age/grade are they for?
I designed these for the toddler through preschool age range, about 2-5 years old. However, as with all my materials, some children may be ready sooner, and some may find them useful past this time. Your learners may use some materials from the month when they are 3, but not be ready for a couple until they are 4, and by the time they get to kindergarten, you can easily put out all 8 activities on your shelves and utilize them all throughout the month!
