Most children are ready to begin Kick Start® somewhere between 18 and 30 months, but every child develops on their own timeline. The activities are flexible and can be adjusted to meet your child right where they are.

What Your Child Will Learn
Kick Start® brings purposeful, connection-based learning and playing into your day-to-day routines.
Motor Skills
Gross Motor and Fine Motor activities each month that are developmentally sequenced to help your child build muscles and skills that they will need for play, art, practical life skills, holding a pencil, and more.
Grace and Courtesy
Practice important interpersonal skills that help children connect with others and build relationships. Work on manners, speaking and listening, following directions, caring for others and their needs, advocating for themselves and others, and respecting themselves, their space, and materials.
Practical Life Skills
Toddlers love a good “I can do it myself”, and each month you will be given developmentally appropriate activities that scaffold these skills into meaningful and doable moments for independent little ones.
Language and Literacy
Engage in activities like finger plays, nursery rhymes, fill-in-the-blank reading, and read-and-recite games to grow vocabulary, comprehension, and early storytelling skills.
Mathematical Concepts
Kick Start introduces early math concepts through hands-on play and everyday exploration. Your child will practice skills like rote counting, touch-and-count to five, shape sorting, comparing sizes, and even collecting simple data.
Bonus Activities
Each unit includes a recipe for a healthy snack that the child can prep (with a little help), art experiences, simple sensory play setups, science experiments, nature investigations, and additional activities to support the learning goals that month.
