Layers of the Earth Pin Punching Diagram
Pickup currently not available
This resource is the perfect combination of fine motor practice and Earth science learning. Students can use the black-and-white templates to color and represent each layer of the Earth, or teachers can print the layers on corresponding colored construction paper.
Students can use jumbo push pins to punch out the different layers, helping them build fine motor skills and practice their tripod pencil grip. Alternatively, they can cut out each circle using scissors.
Once the layers are prepared, students will assemble and glue the layers together to create a model of the Earth. They can then write the labels themselves or cut and glue the provided labels for each layer.
When finished, students will have a hands-on visual representation of the Earth's layers, making this activity a fun and engaging way to reinforce Earth science concepts while developing fine motor skills.
