Rock Cycle Wheel FREEBIE
Pickup currently not available
This free activity is a great way for students to learn about and discuss the rock cycle. The resource includes both a color version and a black-and-white version of the rock cycle wheel.
Students will cut out the wheel and cover, then insert a brad through the center hole so the wheel can spin. As they rotate the wheel, students can explore and talk about the eight stages of the rock cycle.
This hands-on activity is a perfect addition to a Project-Based Learning (PBL) unit about Earth science and geology. It is also an easy, low-prep activity to leave for a guest teacher, making it both engaging and convenient for the classroom.
