Summer Letter Sound and Letter Identification Puzzles

These puzzles are a fun and hands-on way for your child or students to recognize and name upper and lowercase letters and match them to one another as well as identify the sound they make and match them to a picture that shares that same beginning sound. Each popsicle puzzle has 3 pieces, an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and a summer themed image that represents that letter sound. All pictures used are phonetically correct representations of the letter using their most common sound, x is represented as a final phoneme, and all vowels have a short vowel image. This resource is a great literacy center activity, morning bin, early finisher activity, or Montessori shelf work.
