Summer Syllable Sort

Help learners develop phonological awareness with this Syllable Sorting Activity (1–4 Syllables). Students will identify words by syllable count and sort them into the correct categories.

Each category (1, 2, 3, and 4 syllables) includes 4 picture cards, making it easy for students to hear and recognize word parts. This activity focuses on listening for syllables rather than individual sounds, so no prior knowledge of letter names or phonics is required.
