This week, students will read and explore The Koala Who Could by Rachel Bright as they learn about courage, resilience, and embracing change. Through discussion, vocabulary, and story analysis, students will focus on visualizing by creating detailed mental images using descriptive language from the text. Learners will explore how facing fears and trying new experiences can lead to growth, confidence, and unexpected opportunities. Students will also read Trying by Kobi Yamada as a connected text, exploring how bravery, persistence, and believing in yourself help us overcome challenges and continue growing.
