Two Homes by Claire Masurel
This week, students will read and explore Two Homes by Claire Masurel as they learn about different family structures and what makes a home special. Through discussion, vocabulary, and story analysis, students will focus on making connections and comparing and contrasting experiences across texts. Learners will explore themes of family, love, and belonging while recognizing that home can look different for everyone. Students will also read A Family Is a Family Is a Family by Sara O’Leary as a connected text, exploring how all families are unique yet filled with love and care.
