As students engage with both fiction and nonfiction texts, they will practice key comprehension skills such as sequencing, summarizing, identifying cause and effect, and analyzing theme. By exploring stories about environmental responsibility, conservation, and community action, students will build awareness of stewardship while developing confidence in their ability to care for natural resources, protect animals, and make thoughtful choices that positively impact the Earth.
