Fairtyale Write the Room Scavenger Hunt

This resource contains Write the Room scavenger hunts featuring fairytale-themed vocabulary. Each recording sheet includes three differentiated versions to meet the needs of your unique learners.

This activity is easy to set up and can be left out for independent work, learning centers, early finishers, morning work, or to incorporate movement into the classroom.

Begin by selecting which Write the Room scavenger hunt you would like your learners to complete. You can use one hunt at a time or mix multiple hunts together for an added challenge. Place the picture and word cards throughout the learning space for learners to seek and find.

Using the appropriate recording sheet, learners will search for the matching picture cards and record the corresponding word on their sheet. Recording sheets include solid tracing for prewriters, dotted tracing for learners developing letter formation skills, and blank lines for learners who are ready to copy and write independently.

Featuring favorite fables and fairy tales, this resource provides an engaging way to build early literacy skills through movement and play.
