Spring Sight Word Flowers

This resource includes multiple variations of game mats. With this set, students can practice sight words in fun, hands-on ways:

Matching
Place the sight word flower set that matches your chosen recording sheet in a sensory bin, spread them face down on a work surface, or tape them around the room for a scavenger hunt-style activity.
Students will pick a flower, read the sight word, then:

• Color the matching word on their recording sheet,
• Place a math cube or manipulative on the matching word, or
• Place the flower directly on top of the matching word on the recording sheet.

Writing
Using the same setup (sensory bin, face-down cards, or scavenger hunt), students pick a flower, read the sight word, and write the word in the matching flower on their recording sheet.

Extension Idea
If students return the flowers to the bin after each turn, you can provide crayons for rainbow writing when they draw the same word again—great for extra repetition and engagement!

Differentiation & Customization
Blank flowers and recording sheets are included so you can add:

• Additional sight words
• Letters or spelling patterns
• Even numbers for math practice
