Garden Write the Room Scavenger Hunt

This resource includes 3 different Write the Room scavenger hunts:

Each scavenger hunt comes with three differentiated recording sheets to meet the needs of your diverse learners.

This activity is easy to set up and leave up, making it perfect for:

• Independent work
• Centers
• Early finishers
• Entry tasks
• Adding purposeful movement to your classroom

How to Use:

• Choose which Write the Room scavenger hunt you’d like your learners to complete (you can run more than one at the same time!).
• Tape the picture-and-label tiles around your learning space.
• Students search for the matching picture tiles and record the word on their recording sheet.

Differentiation Included:

• Solid tracing – for prewrites
• Dotted tracing – for emerging writers or students practicing letter formation
  
• Blank lines – for students ready to copy and write independently

This activity builds vocabulary, letter formation, early writing skills, visual scanning, and engagement through movement, all in one low-prep setup.
